After nearly 40 years collective service… the two groups merged in 2023 for greater logistical synergy and an increased public profile. SWiFT events tend to pertain to the greater Milwaukee area, while KRAFt is centered in Kenosha. Together the Chapter serves a roughly triangular area between Lake County IL, Walworth County WI, and the northern suburbs of Milwaukee (Washington and Ozaukee Counties).

Officers and Administrators

President: Eric Hildeman

Following a Lutheran upbringing and a teenage Pentecostal conversion, Eric was originally slated to join the ministry. But having found enough contradictions in the Christian Bible to make him question the (“good”) book’s supposed infallibility, the rest of the mythology fell like a house of cards. When he’s not engaging in street epistemology, he can typically be found attending or volunteering at local conventions (particularly those pertaining to science fiction and feminism), running the Milwaukee Science Fiction and Fantasy League, or writing, writing, writing. He has a Bachelors in Accounting, has been happily married since 2016, and enjoys collecting pet taxes from the animals in his home.

Vice President: Rob Moore

Essentially an atheist since leaving his Mainline Protestant parents to begin learning, Rob has been a vocal and visible atheist activist since the public schools tried indoctrinating his kids as soon as they were enrolled. A spokesman, podcast host, and atheist influencer on social media, Rob is the Wisconsin State Director for American Atheists and State Rep with FFRF. He has hosted debates, organized conferences and billboard campaigns, and played a key role in the 2016 Reason Rally in Washington DC.

Secretary: Carrie Kishline

Carrie went from Episcopalian to Catholic to none of the above by the time she was 20 - baptized twice, confirmed once, no longer a subscriber. Animals have been a lifelong passion: she has tattoos memorializing pets no longer with us, and has fostered for Rescue Gang and Ma Paws & Me. All of her pets are rescues. She has a Bachelors in Political Science but still has no idea what she wants to be when she grows up.

Treasurer: Jim Reilly

Webmaster: J. Caric Hildemoore

Our webmaster is an abomination unto nature and we try to leave it/them be as much as possible.

Back away slowly. Don’t make any sudden moves. We should all (probably) survive this.
